75°06’S is a technical brand born from a radical challenge: create real protection for those who work in one of the most hostile places on Earth. Our project started in
2019, and it sets its roots in the heart of Antarctica, where temperatures can reach -89°C and you can’t make mistakes. There, on Dome C, we’ve developed solutions made for just one thing: go beyond the extreme. Today we turn the same knowledge with equipment made for modern explorers, from outdoor athletes to travelers, up to those facing their own city every day.
Our origins
It all started by listening those who truly live Antarctica: scientists, technicians and
operators in pole missions. Their needs were clear:
- temperatures up to -89°C
- strong winds up to hundreds of km/h
- the need to have less layers
- extreme Lightness
- exteme mobility
- extreme protection of the extremities
It hasn’t been easy to find an answer to all these challenges.
Smart clothing
We’ve developed a smart and intelligent apparel system that works in synergy:
A base layer developed with the support of a doctor, who analyzed body changes and activates warmth when the temperature drops. An outside suit that can trap thewarmth inside and that can resist to extreme conditions, reducing the weight, size and dispersion. We’ve tested everything in climatic chambers up to -70°C.

Through this partnership, we’ve redesigned the suits used by researchers living in the
most hostile places, turning the insights of research into concrete solutions, techniques and responsibly designed.

By our side there’s also ENEA, the national agency for new technologies, the energy and a sustainable economic development.
Their scientific and technical contribution was fundamental: ENEA approved our
gear designed to protect scientists, researchers and technicians that work at
-89°C.
This validation isn’t a simple achievement: It’s a confirmation of the fact that our system is up to the standards of people working in one of the most hostile places on Earth.
TODAY
A brand with deep roots
After researching, testing and implementing, today 75°06’S is more than a technical
brand.
It’s a community of people, who believe in exploration, responsibility and knowledge.
Our first store in Vicenza, right in the heart of its city center, has opened, and
before that a temporary shop in Milan in 2023.
